Sorry to post off-topic, but singing software was a recent thread
here on synth-diy.
I found an application called SING! v2.02 that will run on a 68040
Macintosh. It is the only singing software I could find that did not
require a PowerPC.
The software requires Speech Manager 1.4 or newer and Macintalk 3.
I have found references to Speech Manager 1.4 and 3.0, but I have not been
able to find the software itself. I also cannot find Macintalk 3.0 -- the
best I can find is Macintalk Pro 1.2. I have been searching high and low.
I have checked dozens of websites, including several Apple sites, and
dozens of ftp archives. Do you have any idea where I might find copies of
these??
Apple isn't very helpful in what they decide to keep on their own
archives. Otoh, they keep dinosaurs like System 5, yet they won't have
useful things like Quicktime 2.5 because they want to force people to get
QuickTime 3.0 (which is ten times larger).

THANX!!

PEACE OUT :)
