No, BUT, you prolly could find a fairly accurate design for a frequency
to voltage converter..You could play a pulse or sign wave into one of
these, and they spit out a corresponding voltage on the other side. As
long as the thing is set to work with pulse or sine waves, it should
work and track fairly accurately. With a sampled sine or sqr, this
should work near perfectly i would think.
The old radar tracking systems used to have a ton of these being fed
by multiple filters to break down the spectra of radar return signals
and would translate these via an analog computer into numbers that gave
info such as speed, bearing (if they also were coupled with a rotating
transmitter) and other info. They seemed to be pretty darn accurate,
and, having looked at a few of the schematics for these units, they
looked fairly simple.. mostly op-amp based designs.
