If the objective is to produce a FatMan, I would strongly advise just
buying the kit.  Other than tools, this kit is *complete*.  And I
think if you price out the parts, you'll find it really is a deal,
given the other 'built it' value (pcb is already made, EPROM to burn,
etc).
