My first VCF

I've been working on my first VCF design -- it uses 3 OTA's ( 1.5
LM13700's ). It has a LP, HP, bandpass, and notch selectable output (
one at a time -- not a state variable design ) and -12db/dec. As far as
the controllability, I've included a cutoff and res control. Both
controls are linear in nature.

Since I've never owned or even seen a synth module, I was wondering
about the most common behaviors of the cutoff and resonance ( that isn't
worded well ). Would a exponential cutoff control be more useful? I
was thinking that if a VLFO controlled the cutoff an exponential input
would give an "even speed" effect, instead of "slowing down" as the
frequency increased. Or perhaps, the exponential conversion would be
better in a separate module.

Thanks,
Brian Towles
