Patching out an SEM-1

Has anyone out there had any experience with modifying an Oberheim SEM-1? I
want to bring all of the internal connections from my Oberheim two-voice
out to a normalised patch bay (might as well include the noise
source+S/H+sequencer section while I'm at it) and rack mount the whole
thing. In the process I should probably add pitch CV through an attenuator
to the VCF's (something that's definitely missing right now), a ring
modulator (Paul's MOTM-100 board would be a good starting point), 4 pole
multimode filters, linear inputs for FM, waveshapers/dividers, an envelope
follower, more EG's and LFO's, at least eight channels of MIDI/CV plus
gates and triggers, and every other neat module and/or feature I've ever
seen.

Before I get around to all that, I have scans of the schematics and
connector pinouts, but it sure would be nice to see a service manual. As it
is I can't get both filters to sound the same no matter what I do (it's not
a bug, it's a feature). I haven't the slightest (well, actually I do
but...) idea how to align the oscillators.

If anybody has any documentation or experience to share it would be greatly
appreciated. I am NOT going to start on this tomorrow, but things are
beginning to move in the right direction. If anyone has some decent, i.e.,
readable originals I could convert them into PDF for everyone's benefit. I
actually do this kind of thing for a living, so I can at least claim to
know what I'm talking about...:-)

Now if only I could get my hands on a can of Deox-it I could start
recording LP's again...
