The reason why sources for these parts should be included, is that the FAQ
already recommends capacitors with these dielectrics as the best for
specific applications. You can't do-it-yourself with a part if you can't
buy it yourself.

A company in the Allied catalog named ASC makes non-PCB oil filled
capacitors for air conditioning and refrigeration applications. Welbourne
Labs lists polystyrene caps made by a Reliable Capacitor Company. No
listing for teflon.

In good faith I could not include a reference to Angela Instruments. They
are the worst non-software company I have ever dealt with in my entire life.

These guys want $12 just for their catalog. Whenever I read something like
"The Hovland MusiCaps are a premium film and foil capacitor that deliver
exceptional dynamics, speed, focus, correct timbre and depth of field," an
alarm in my head goes off warning me that some guy in a designer sweater is
trying to blow smoke up my ass.

Parts on the audiophile market are generally over-priced. Since companies
like Welbourne do not manufacture their own caps, it seems advantageous to
find a less expensive middle-man.

Anyone know any other sources??

PEACE OUT :)
