Eh... well, not really... I do really have my head under my arm in
these questions, but now that you mention it it comes back to
me... how stupid I am!
EaSED> Try this, Magnus.
EaSED> http://www.svetlana.com
EaSED> Svetlana has NOTHING to do with "Sovtec", okay?
Sure. Svetlana != Sovtek is assumed here.
EaSED> Sovtek is a registered trademark of New Sensor Corp, New York.

Ah... new piece of information for me.
EaSED> By comparison, most Svetlana tubes are made by Svetlana.

EaSED> And if that's not enough, and the Angela and Welborne

OK. Now I have much more info than when I started.
Yes, I am proud owner of several tube oscilloscopes, but I have
*never* got around service or build anything with tubes. I simply lack
specs, theory, good source of tubes and all that. I do have and have
access to a few schematics. I know the basic physics behind tubes, but
this is not enougth to get the knowledge I need (at least I need a few
good examples of how the derivations is done to get the hunch of it).
Eric, this is no joke, I am not pulling a leg, I have just openly
confessed of a large hole in my knowledge of electronic devices!
Feel open to fill the hole ;)
I feel strongly against letting such knowledge get lost.
Cheers,
Magnus
