I have now scribbled some stuff together, so it's getting there.

Well, I think that the difference here is that tubes are a very
specific component where as the set of components that are used in
analog synts have a spread spectrum of functions, except for things
like CEM and SSM chips which are much more dedicated.
I think we (the users in a sense) better shape up our act. Shall we?
Meanwhile, a few tempco and precission manufactors have got onto the page:

BTW. Except for Sovtec I know of no other tube source on the net, can
you enlighten me?
EaSED> And one other thing: it's funny that 3340s and other such devices

I agree (in a sense). Good and unique products are beeing terminated
without replacement components with even similar in function. With
todays precission analog IC technology with good fab processes and all
that it should not be all that difficult to make such a
chip.... Hmm... I am in the wrong buissness here? (I work as a network
protocol designer and system architect at office hours.)

Well, I saw the preformance in temperature stability, and I was
impressed. Why is it that the range is only 2.5 octaves?
I am really bad on tube theory and eager to learn more.
Cheers,
Magnus
