Hi folks,
While rumaging around in a junk box I found an item I bought in the early
eighties. I had forgotten all about it. It is a Roland hand clap
synthesiser, triggered off a gate signal or its own built in touch sensitive
pad. Now, I think this is one that really needs ripping apart and modifying.
As it is, it only has three controls on the front... what it really wants is
envelope control, external inputs and others. Has anyone any circuits for
this thing and has anyone mucked about with one?
I remember when I bought this thing ( yes, sad isn't it! but hand claps were
not to be found on my RMK-100 drum box), Roland also did a box that did
synth drums, poo wooooooo. Nice. Probably would fetch a packet on the second
hand market now. At the BMF that year I also remember a little silver box
that had these little dinky silver keys on it, it made sort of farty bass
noises... now what was that called???? TB or not TB :-)
