I agree--good way to learn some of the weirder/less obvious 
wrinkles of analog design. Doesn't cover electronic music
circuits, but goes deep into op-amp and various other
analog-computer-related designs. Which essentially means
analog synth circuits.

No rumor, I've seen him at the Foothill College flea market, and yes
he was signing and selling his books. Remarkably arrogant and
eccentric fellow. Drives the most beat-up, ratty looking
old Volkswagen beetle you've ever seen. Complete with 5 added
sets of brake lights. (Bob has this fixation about people
driving around with no brake lights.......if he sees that your
lights don't work, he'll follow you for MILES while 
screaming at you.....it's happened to at least one person I know)
