VCO chip availability

I'm sure this subject has been addressed since the archive was last updated
in 1996, but since I can't seem to get any results from "index synth-diy"
I'm going to ask it:
I'm actually getting back into diy from a looong absence (like 16 years),
and I used SSM2033's and CEM3340's for the VCO's in the modular I built in
the early 80's. Synthesis Technology (http://www.synthtech.com) has
CES/OnTrack chips for decent prices, but no CEM3340's as I take it those
are no longer in production.
They do have the CEM3374, a dual (that's nice) exponential VCO, but it
requires analog multipliers (or multiplying DAC's) to do the temperature
compensation.
I've noticed some SSM chips being offered in various places; lot's of VCF's
and VCA's, no VCO's.
What's available nowadays cheap ($20 and under), and where?
