   Good question. I had a look at the data sheets, for the 317 the values
   are given in %, so i calculated them for 15V output.

   Do you all aggree with these figures?

The LM317 is meant to be operated with the ADJ pin bypassed to ground
with a cap when you care about performance.  With that done, specs
like noise and ripple rejection improve by an order of magnitude.
(Those % specs get referenced to 1.25 V instead of 15 V.)

I discovered this the stupid way... "Hey, what the hell is all that
noise?!?!   Wait a second... it's on the supply line...".
