Question to VCS3 / Synthi A users

Hi !

As I am currently building a VCS3 clone, I'd like to ask one
question to all who own a synthi A or VCS3:

If you had the choice, which important feature would you like to be
added ?

Background is that I use a 20x20 (not 16x16) matrix, so I have 4
additional
inputs and outputs.

What I have currently in mind is this:

a) use 3 input columns for the waveshape of the oscillators
b) use the 4th column as input for an additional Sample & Hold
c) use 2 output rows for feedback of the output channels, and still have
individual osc1 and osc2 waveform outputs
d) use one output row for S & H output
e) use the last output row for an additional standard ADSR envelope

The S&H would be clocked from either it's own clock generator, or from
osc3, or gate input.
A second envelope generator would be nice, especially with standard
ADSR contour and with longer than 1s attack times.

But I am not sure if this is the best choice. maybe I should only make
one or two oscillators available for waveshape modulation, and have
filter
resonance control on the matrix instead ... or something else I didn't
even
think of.

So I'm asking EMS users for helpful hints: What do you miss most
on your synthi ? Any comments are welcome - please respond to

Thanks in advance

JH.
