Haven't tried the 4069, but the FETs in the 4007 are matched well
enough to act as VC resistors in the mono compressor / stereo
expander circuit of the ARP Quadra's phaser.

Interesting combination, btw: They used the BE resistance of bipolar
arrays for the all pass stages, but the DS resistance of mosfets 
for the compander circuit.
