Great little circuit!
Only drawback: this would have terrible CV feedthru. 
Note that the control voltage for each stage is simply derived
from the CV-induced output offset voltage of the previous stage !
But for slow modulations, probably it would not matter.
Signal to noise ratio might be problematic (we're talking very
small signal amplitudes here!), but then again Serge is famous for 
including noise sensitive circuits inside a tight companding system ...

(Just a few thoughts from a first glance. Will look closer tonight.)
