My guess is that he's talking about the micro-theremin at
http://www2.vivid.net/~tomg/ . It isn't a proper theremin (it works by
two LDRs instead of two antennas) dut then again it's something like
five components and a speaker, and a lot easier both to build and to
set up than a real one :-)
