Well it´s more to it than just having the box play some samples.. =)
The whole idea that i have is to build my lp/bp/hp resonant filter and put one
at
each of the channels in the box.. And whamo you get a cheesey livemachine
wich is´nt that expensive to build.. All in all it´s a matter of about 200$
concidering
Buying a used 707, switching roms, buying components and bulding the filters.
My girlfriends dad looked at the schematics for the filter and said that he
probably could
fit it to an ordinary matchbox.. And the 707 have enough room in it´s box to
fit several
filters..
That´s the idea for now.. =)

One other thing would be to build your own VCOs and VCF and ADSR and then
triggering
ot with the sequencer in the 707... Say if you would replicate the circuits of
the 606 and
build that in to the 707 and adding a CV-trigg to the sounds then you would
have somthing
even Cooler .. =) ..
A 606 with the 707:sequencer.. =) ..
A well.. Maybe this will be a future project.. =) .. If the rom-replace idea
doesn´t work out..
Cheers!
