CV generator circuit...

Alright, I'm setting myself out to start something simple and make a CV
generator circuit. The goal is to make something that my
soon-to-be-acquired PC 1600 can understand in the CV 1 and CV 2 can
understand... the features are simple:
- Dial in 0-10 volts for all CVs
- Homemade ribbon controller. I'm going to use the not-tested
metal-and-tape method in the AH archives - at least try it. The ribbon
controller will be switchable between CV 1 and CV 2.
- Joystick for simultaneous vector control of both CVs.
- All factors are selectable via toggle switches (CV 1 dial, CV 2 dial,
joystick, ribbon)
- LED indicators determine when a selection has active CV voltage.
(Cause I like lights. (: )

The problem is, my electronic engineering skills are EXTREMELY rusty to
nonexistant. So even a basic circuit like this using a DC 10V wallwart
is something I will have questions on. I came up with a circuit idea and
used a CAD program to simulate and test it... at any rate, the schematic
(rough) is below. My main questions for those better electronics
experts:

1) The LEDs. I'm not sure if they will actually do what I am thinking it
should do. Is the LED placement correct? (e.g. after the resistor,
direction facing towards the + voltage) If not, I'd like to know.

2) I tested this thing using a 10V battery on a computer analog circuit
simulator program
(without the LEDs or switches). As such, I may have gotten a couple of
things wrong when converting to what is going to be as close to a 10V
wallwart as I can (specifically ground and + voltage placement)... is it
correct?

Any other general device would be appreciated. Thanks. (:
