MC1468L Regulator

Someone asked about the Motorola MC1468 regulator...

I lost the original message, but did some investigating today.
It does not look good.  While I could locate the part in Mot and EXAR 
(XR1468) data books in the 1980s, I could find no databook or product 
listing showing it available in the 1990s.   The RCA "SK Series" of consumer electronics 
replacement parts lists an SK7615 as being a pin compatible 
replacement for the MC1468L.  I think either Mouser, Digikey, or 
Newark Electronics carry the SK series.  
Also, I could check at work, 
maybe we have an MC1468L in the lab from way back when...
