Analog switches (multiplexers) 4051, 4052 and 4053 all have a third power
pin, Vee, designed to allow the device to be hung across a +/- supply while
still being controlled by +/0v logic. Alas, the mazimum voltage from Vdd(+)
to Vee(-) is still only the 15v maximum recommended. Using these however,
may make the logic side of these circuits that much easier.
