909 problem

Mark, I had a similar problem with a keyboard product.  It turned out to
the a voltage regulator in the power supply.  As the voltage fell below the
processor tolerance, the keyboard would appear as if were switched off and
back on very quickly.  However, I can see where a variety of power supply
problems could yeild similar results.
