One way to keep people from ripping it off is to make it free. I don't get
the impression Bernie is making any money off the publication, nor any of
the other people who contributed to Electronotes. I get the impression
that it's an extra burden for him to make copies and distribute the stuff
at this point in time. I also get the impression that his heart is no
longer with analog diy circuitry (he's DSP prof now).
I like the CD rom Idea, but personally I think the best way to disseminate
this information would be to scan it in and make it available online.
Maybe it's just the hippie in me talking, but I feel something like
Electronotes should be easily accessible to those who want it.
