Do you actually need it as decimal numbers? If you could make do with a 
hexadecimal display of the value, you could do this quite easily, just 
apply each four-bit nibble to a digit. They are some 7 segment LED displays 
with the logic built in - just feed 'em the four bits. You'd also save a 7 
segment display.
