Hybrid Hammond

Yep, it's a bit or two off topic, but has anyone experimented with adding
multi-mode LFO modulation to a Hammond tone generator-type organ? I've got
a M-3 that I'm just dying to try it on, but I'd like to know what others
may have encountered while on the same path.

My main question is: At what point to inject the signal in the existing
electronics, or alternately, what type of add-on module to construct for
the modulation input.
