HELP!! WATER DAMAGE!!!

Actually, you can be surprised.  I had an external Mac drive that
was completely immersed in water, and I let it dry for a long time
(couple of months), waiting for the insurance company to pick 
it up on the their claim, which they never did.  Just for the heck 
of it, I hooked it up (to the Mac, which was also full of water), 
and it worked, was even able to access and retreive the data on it.

I was amazed!
