DIY Amplifiers?

There are some resources on the net such as the AMPAGE website. While
not strictly a synth-diy topic, I will talk on-list or off-line on the
topic with any interested parties. I do have an article upcoming in this
year's "Performer's Audio" magazine entitled, "Build It! A Portable
Headphone Amplifier". While not any wattage to speak of, I have
considered 60 and 240 watt DIY amplifier designs suitable for keyboard
use. The challenge is to be cost effective. The pro-grade mixer/preamp
stages are not trival either.
