CharlieT Benefit Sale - Last Week

This is a quick reminder that the CharlieT benefit sale is over June 19th.

For newbies, CharlieT is a long-standing member of AH and DIY, diagnosed with
cancer in the area of his optic nerves. I am donating all the proceeds from CEM chips sales
(10% off regular prices) and MOTM synthesizer kits (triple point credit).

Lastly, the "will you have 3340s" question has risen again. The plans are as follows:

1) in mid-Sept. I will offer the MOTM-400 Dual VCO. It uses 2 3340s. Lots of you have these
hidden away. I will offer the kit with and without the 3340s. Next year there
will be a MOTM-420 that uses 3374s (I have over 2,400 of those!!).

2) Depending on the relative success of the kit, I will have some 3340s left over. I will
then hold a Dutch auction (see www.onsale.com for an explaination) in October for
them. PLEASE don't ask for them until then. If all you need is 1 or 2, try Roland USA
parts in LA. Ask for #15229810, according to my MKS-80 book that should do it.

3) I have no plans to rebuild the part this year: the $40,000 needed is the issue.
