.....not if you rub it with steel wool before soldering
(use the steel wool without the inbuilt soap!)
this is exactly how I tell people to do one-off rack stuff..
you can do rows of jacks on a second bit of stripboard too
and hold them to the panel with the jack nuts.. easy to dissemble
for troubleshooting.
