PCB Etching and Sealing

Years ago, used to do my own boards. What a mess! I decided that it was
well worth it to have some else do it; lot better quality too.

One place that will do SS boards for a very reasonable price is below.
They etch, drill, and cut to size, using standard panels like 6x10". You
can thus gang up boards. They don't do silkscreens or solder mask or
anything fancy. The only extra thing they offer is tin plating.

This is a great place for protoypes or DIY. Save yourself from the
horrors of hot ferric chloride and all that drilling!

On the subject of sealing the finished board; this is not absolutely
necessary, although the board will look nicer after a few years if you
do it. Just use any basic clear spray after soldering and defluxing.
Make sure the board is completely dry both before and after spraying
before applying power.

Regards.
