I used BA662 in my clone, and it still doesn't sound *exactly* like my
real 303, but is so close that you can't say which is which.
This would possibly be the case with another real 303...

Yes, I noticed these things too, with Seq303 and Cubase, and spent some
time listening to it, and thinking about it.
I posted about this to synth-diy before, and the post is copied on the
303 web site at http://www.teknet.ch/tb-303/speaking/art09.htm
Have a look there if you want - I'll not waste b/w by reposting the
whole thing.
