Joachim has published a very interesting VC envelope recently.
No need for 3310's (;->).
VC Decay and VC Sustain can be extremely useful for fast sequencer
and arpeggiator patterns. Use a slow LFO or a S&H that is synced to
the sequencer / arpeggiator as modulation source.
In case you really want to use keyboard tracking on ADSR parameters,
make sure that you can invert the modulation source. You can read that
shorter decay times for higher notes make a sound more "realistic",
but I think this effect is not very convincing. The opposite (slower attack
and decay for higher notes) allows a punchy bass at the low end, and
a soaring lead sound at the high end of the keyboard. Try it; you'll like it
!
