Minimoog VCF Problems.

Hi,

I've recently tried building the Minimoog VCF from the schematic which is
widely available online, from Music Machines and elsewhere. The file is called "minifilt.gif".

Has anyone else actually built this, as I cannot get the output diff amp to
work, and have had to resort to an opamp based solution.

Is there a fault in the schematic?

Also, has anyone any thoughts on the sound quality of different ladder
filters, i.e. is there actually an advantage to using a "modern" approach with
ic transistor arrays, fet opamps, etc.?
