A possible solution would be to cascade a pair of 74c151 8 to 1 mux.
Any of the HC or HCT variants should drop in, assuming you can find them.

I use the LS variant myself, muxing the outputs of a top octave synthesizer
chip, then feeding them into a divider chain and another 8 to 1 mux, giving
me digitally selectable notes, much like they do in modern organs. I built
this back in the early eighties.
