Yes.. correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the most common use of a
sample+hold circuit? It seems to be what is built into many synths (sh-101
for one, I know there are many others so I won't bother listing). If you
take this random voltage and apply it to say, the VCF cutoff, you get a
nice burbling/rubbery effect. Sounds especially nice on the 101 IMO.
