it doesn't matter what kind of midi data is being sent, the performance of
the link
is the same (unless you are going to make a whole new protocol).
I would have thought a 50 or 75 ohm coax with video drivers. With these
lengths you
will have to be sure there is no reflection at the ends. I imagine there are
video
experts on this list?
