Yes it all makes sense and should all work. It would be a really nice
modification to the basic curcit. But keep in mind everything you do will
affect the cycle function in some way. If you intend to use the cycle function
don't use the 100R resistor. And use the output of the opamp for threshold.
This helps keep the rise/fall rates equal for tri LFO. BTW I have not tried
this but the 555 has a CV input. Maybe the envelope could be modulated.
