VCS3 Filter Cap values

Hi All,

I am in the process of breadboarding the VCS3 filter and was wondering if
anyone knows what value 47Kpf or 10Kpf is as indicated on the schemos that
are out there? 
Is it 47000pf or 47 pf. I have seen plenty of ceramic caps labeled
47K,82K,22K etc and they are just 47,82 and 22 pf etc.
respectively. Anyone know for sure. Other cap values on the schems are in
micro farrads so why not indicate 47Kpf as
.047mfd ? 
Cursed British and their non standard cap values!
