Tubes with "numbers" inside them/nixie tubes

They are called Nixie Tubes.. they look very retro, and, yes, some of
our freq counters/timers at work still use them.. They are really cool,
but, i hate to tell you that they are very hard to find these days and
also very expensive, at least when compared to 7 segment leds.
They can be driven by BCD to Nixie drivers which are 74xxx series
chips..pretty easy to use, but expensive, although nothing beats that
red glowing dancing number look!
