OK here's what I use (at least the current roll):

Kester Sn63/Pb37 Organic Core Solder Flux "331" dia. .025 core 66

Also on the package that it came in it says:

"The flux residue must be removed by thoroughly rinsing with water."

Maybe I'll try water next time. I know that Isopropyl and de-fluxer in a
can works, but that stuff costs more than water.
