My next synth will have unscaled, not completely temperature compensated
VCS3 type VCOs. And I'll use single turn pots and hysteresis-plagued
vernier dials.
Why ?
Because I want a pure FX machine.
Not that my previous projects couldn't produce the wildest effects as
well.
It's just that I end up using every VCO that's precicely tuned to play
"harmonical
correct" melodies. As if I'd rather not "waste" it for unharmonic FX
sounds.
It's an irrational imp, but it's definetly there.
