this book was compiled for friends of mine who wanted to get into building
their own pedals, improve existing pedals and learn a little electronics at
the same time (for me it's a quick way to access all my main stuff) ... I
included lots of other people's stuff mainly as a means of creating a
bigger picture than the ten or so hard-to-find schematics and mods that are
notated in the index with a @ symbol would provide ... the mod to the Small
Stone was tought to me by Rick Onlsow when I was in my teens in the late
seventies; Rick was Frank Marino's tech for a long time and is well known
in Montreal both as tube amp tech and great guitar player ... there's also
a bunch of coOoL Craig Anderton circuits from GPlayer and several of his
opto-isolator ones that are interesting from a designer's viewpoint ...
there's also a data sheet section which provides response curves for a good
CLM-6000 substitute, the NSL-32 by Silonex ...

I must warn that the manual is very rough and consists of work notes ...
also, I'm working on crediting "other" net authors though as of yet it is
but a fake book, and most of them didn't put their names on there anyway
... (this ain't the big leagues that's fer sure) ... in case it matters, I
only plan on doing this fake book thing for a short time anyway ... I hope
copies get made from those and that it spreads out ... only to find its way
... into the hands of the KEEPERS OF THE KNOWLEDGE ...
