Good news - I finally bought a PC.
Thanks again for all the good recommendations for CD burners.
They were very valuable for me in that they helped me decide
to *not* buy such a thing yet. 
So I have a cheap PC now, no temptation to do any music with it
(glad for that !!), but you can reach me by email at home. Hopefully, 
that is. No idea if it works yet, or if it will change again in near
future.
(And I'll probably draw my schematics with PSpice and not by hand now.)

I *don't* want to change my subscribtion yet. But I'd be glad if
some people from the list would send me a little mail so I can see
if (and how) things work.
