There are some nice chips, used to be made by PMI, which I think is AD
now, that start with REF-xx. There are 10v, 5v and 2v5 versions. The
10v one is the quietest, but it is a lot better than a zener. I have
used a 5v one, REF-02, in my -5v supply for my CEM vcos. Very stable...
