MXR Junior pedal

Hi people,

I just got a MXR Junior pedal. It seems to be in good condition but I 
don´t know how to use it, or for what was designed... It´s a black 
pedal, with three knobs (tempo, voice1,2,3,4 and level.
There are a trigger input and signal in and out. I´ve tried with a sine 
wave and only get a kind of overdrive, but the effect don´t change when 
i tweak knobs. Also I´ve aplied a trigger coming from my SQ10 without 
success. Finally, I opened the unit and all seems OK inside...Any 
advice??
Any info is greatly apreciated.
