AD8307 logarithmic amplifier

    I would say no.  First off, this is a 500MHz part (translation,
expensive).  Also, the word logarithmic is being used in a different sense
as used in E-music circuits.  I am afraid we are still stuck with the
traditional way of making an exponential converter.

    By the way, this is my first post to this group.  I have been reading
it for about a month.  You seem like a fairly swell bunch of people.  Wish
I had known about this group sooner, but better late than never.
