Got this out of a reciever kit. I don't remember who's. I
think it was in a RE mag. The original used 2 4011's and
then inverted the output. I just replaced the second 4011
with a 4081.

Might be expanded to more than 4 outputs I never tried. You 
could build 5 and use one to select the other 4 switch banks.

I sent this to Rob maybe someone else is interested.

Try this one. It's right out of the CMOS cookbook. The neet thing
about this is the cap remembers the last state when powered down.
So when you turn whatever it is back on the switches remember where
they were set. very cool! The 4016/66 can be omitted and a manual
PB used instead. But with the analog switch it can be voltage
controlled...also very cool!
