Yeah, that does suck.  Many a schematic has met its demise around my
desk in that manner.  The HP720 prints out schematics beautifully, but
it does suffer from water-related issues.  Also, it sometimes crashes
Windows 98, but that could be the work of the Great Satan of Redmond (I
am about .5 mile from there as I type this).

I recently purchased a copy of "Elements of Computer Music" by F.
Richard Moore (EXCELLENT book, btw - explains everything, including the
math, and has TONS of C code for implementing oscillators, phase
vocoding, filters, etc.).  The print on the pages has a weird raised
quality.  I have the feeling that the book is printed on demand, using
some weird technique. That would explain why the damn thing cost $64
(worth it, though).
