Well, that really seems interesting.

Hmm, I got this little organising-mania hitting me from time to time,
and I have noticed that this issue keeps poping up all the time. So, I
sugest that maybe we aught to compile a page with books which is
usefull for the DIYer. There is a AH FAQ, so one could have it
associated with that possibly. Every now and then we see how people
comment on this or that book, I know books (like "The Art of
Electronics" for instance) that keep surfacing.

Theres general books on synths (like Mark Vails "Vintage
Synthesizers").

Theres books on basic theory of synths (timbre and stuff).

Theres books on synthesizer cursuits.

Theres books on general electronics.

etc. etc.

All these form a suite of material that one might like to have. Theres
really so many books out there, so you need to have some
guidance. Also, as we end up buying stuff more and more remote we
don't have the option of browsing the book before bying it.

Giving directions on where the book may be acquired might also be a
good idea.

Hints like where to get Doepfer schematics, Electronotes etc kind of
fits the picture as well.

Just an idea...

I really missed a good source for this information as I have tried to
extend my library with such books, since I don't know what is good and
what is bad I don't know if I want to spend my money on them.

Cheers,
Magnus
