Hi all- 

After weeks of ongoing server problems (site down completely, mail 
problems that lost mail without notification and so on) I had to put 
other things aside temporarily and shop for a new web host. 

We'll be propogating the DNS for the new host between 
Christmas and New Year. I'd like to ask anyone who has the time to 
help me test the new site for missing (probably mis-named) art, broken 
links and so on. In particular, please try the the search tool linked 
at "what's new" and let me know what you think. This is "search.pl" 
from Matt's and _real_ simple so I don't know how useful it is 
altogether. Also when I searched for "fatman", one of the references 
it gave was the MS Mic page and I can't for the life of me find the 
term "fatman" anywhere on the page.

Go in at http://209.52.185.39 and then click on "what's new".

The change will produce a lot of benefits long-term. More space means 
more goodies can go up (for instance, at "what's new"  you'll find a 
.pdf of the OZ article from Jan '77 Radio Electronics that's not 
presently at paia.com) and over time we'll have lots more wav files, 
e.g. the entire demo CD from Electronic Projects for Musicians rather 
than the limited selection put up a few weeks ago. And lots of space 
for the really cool demo material that users send from time to time.
