log pots?

These days, the words "good pots" and "cheap" can't seem to come together!
I noticed Newark advertising a deal on log pots, though, and you may want to
look into this:

Clarostat 580SX4Q25F103ZP,10k, single gang, CW log, conductive plastic, for
$3.09.

It is TINY, 9.5mm. And, it has 90 degree terminals, so I don't know if you
can use them
for your PCB application.

Newark's stock number 83F4486. I just tried the Clarostat P/N on their
on-line search
engine (http://www.newark.com/) and it looks to be a good number.

Perhaps you can get an evaluation sample from:
http://www.clarostat.com/Prods.htm
(click on "Sample Request.")
